ABOUT US

Egisto Solicitors is a well respected legal practice in the Inner Western suburbs of Sydney that has operated for 40 years. It is one of the largest firms between Sydney and Parramatta.

Originally established by Mr. Egisto in 1979, the firm has expanded to include a team of dedicated lawyers, secretaries and clerks who provide a high level of legal services and litigation skills.

As a group, we aim to provide our services at the most professional and cost effective level available. The size of our firm is such that we can offer expertise and at the same time maintain a personalized service to our clients.

She was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of NSW in 1998 and subsequently the High Court of Australia.

 

She commenced her career at the Crown Solicitor's office where she worked for Government bodies like the Department of Corrective Services, the Department of Education, the NSW Police Service and the Roads and Traffic Authority.

 

Subsequently, she worked in private practice at Liverpool where she had a range of files which included public liability, probate, criminal, family law, defective products and defective buildings matters.

 

In 2001, she joined Dibbs Abbott Stillman Lawyers (aka Dibbs Barker Gosling and Dibbs Barker) where she represented a number of licensed insurers including Allianz, CIC, FAI, CGU and other self-insured client's like State Rail. Her focus was on litigated matters with complex medical and liability issues. She enjoyed the challenge of dealing with multiple defendants and dual insurance issues. Working in conjunction with the commercial group, she advised corporate clients and insurers on policy wordings, director's liabilities and insurance coverage.

 

As an experienced litigator, she appeared in the Supreme Court unrepresented, for the insurer before Master Malpass in the matter of Akhrass -v- Allianz & Anor, where the Supreme Court handed down the first decision involving the Motor Accidents Compensation Act 1999.

 

In 2010, she started Danlegal Pty Ltd to provide legal services to the local businesses and community. The firm’s focus was litigation, family law, leasing, conveyancing and estate work which included family provision matters. 

 

In January 2018, she became the managing partner at Egisto Solicitors at Five Dock. The firm continues to offer clients quality commercial legal services in the areas of Wills and estate law, property law, commercial law, litigation including family law. The firm is constantly evolving and adapting to stay ahead of the changing landscape which is often dictated by market forces, legislation and technology. This enables our firm and our people to be more effective in the way we deliver legal services.

 

Other:

Daniela is also a Qualified High school teacher. For many years, while she studied and practiced law, she taught adults at TAFE.

 

Daniela is the daughter of Italian parents.  Her Italian heritage and culture has been woven in to the fabric of her life.

 

Her love for her family gives her a greater understanding of her clients complex family issues. Her business experience and education enables her to understand and navigate the commercial factors that clients face in transactional or litigious matters.

 

Daniela is a Notary Public.
